I hope you are enjoying your summer. It’s certainly been a beautiful one.
At the end of June, we celebrated 15 of our best and brightest seniors who won the Alameda Foundation’s Scholarship Awards. They each received a check to help defer the cost of the next step in their education. What an exciting time! We know they will do some amazing things in the future–of course, they are already doing amazing things.
Speaking of doing amazing things….
For the past two years, the Foundation has awarded a total of 31 graduating seniors with money for continuing education. And we want to continue this.
But we can’t do it without your help.
Youth development is critical to growing our future leaders. Our scholarships are more than just money for a high school senior, they are investments in the economic health and vitality of our area.
Every year, the Foundation hosts a golf tournament to raise money for this scholarship program and other programs that are vital to Alameda growing its reputation for being a great place to live, work, and play.
Won’t you support this fabulous program that means so much to the youth of our community and the future of our workforce and leadership?
The event is always a lot of fun with sponsored holes and plenty of laughs. This year it’s on August 12th, at Chuck Corica Park. Individual tickets are $125 and foursomes are discounted to $450.
We won’t let you go hungry or thirsty. Tickets include beverages, breakfast, lunch, and apps.
Won’t you join us?
