There’s an air of hope and jubilance spreading these days. Have you noticed it? Mask requirements are lessening, COVID deaths are decreasing, immunity is increasing, and things are starting to feel better than they have in a while.
If you haven’t done so already, it’s time to start thinking about where you want your business to go. For a long time many of us were focused on survival. Now it’s time to think about recovery and mapping out potential future growth paths.
What are you aiming for?
While agility has been a valued commodity in business during the pandemic, no matter how agile you or your business was, even if implementation of what you want to do came quickly, it often takes your customers a while to catch up. Building a following, garnering word of mouth…those things are like seeds that must be planted, watered, and tended to.

If you’re unsure, or you’re considering several courses of action, you’ll want to attend the State of the City on April 7th. This is the first time the Chamber is hosting this special event where the Mayor will share her vision for the future of Alameda as well as current projects and programs. Understanding what’s going on (and is planned for in) the community is the best way to chart your own business’ future success.
We hope you’ll join us for this critical information.
As always, the Chamber is here to help. If you need assistance or want to increase your reach, we have several ideas to help you. Let’s talk about them.
