Leadership Alameda
Leadership Alameda introduces an annual class of future leaders to major facets of the community through an informative and interactive, professional development program. Participants partake in educational sessions, tours, and conversations with community leaders in various industries. Enrollment is open in June every year with classes beginning in September.
Alameda Women Leaders Group
At AWL, we are a networking group that welcomes women from all backgrounds and experience levels. We want to share in the struggles, challenges, and successes of one another. The environment is one of mutual respect and support and we invite everyone to have a "seat at the table." The group meets quarterly with a speaker on an issue important to women.
Learning Events
Professional development is a key pilar in the Chamber’s strategic plan. Twice a month,we bring in speakers on topics that are pertinent to our business members. Our Lunch & Learn are part of our premier educational program offerings helping attendees gain new skill sets and a practical application for implementation in their own business hours.

As a member of the Chamber, you have the opportunity and the microphone to help us set the Chamber’s Legislative Agenda for the year.Our Economic & Government Affairs group meets monthly and is open to all.

We bring members together and stand behind them as a powerful and unified pro-business organization. We are the Voice of (and for) Business.

We build strong connections with elected officials at all levels, ensuring that the viewpoints of our members are conveyed to influential decision-makers. Our collaboration with elected representatives yields insights into their positions on crucial matters for our members. We organize candidate night events for members to engage with and understand the candidates’ visions and stances on topics that are critical to our members and Alameda's future.
